Norwegian Minister Opens the eZ Awards

Heidi Grande Røys, the Norwegian Minister of Information Technology, opened the eZ Awards night with a speech that explained Norway's commitment to Open Source software and open standards.

“Increased use of open source software in the public sector can also provide the basis for increased competence building in society. A culture of sharing software developed “in-house” will benefit organisations, businesses, students and ICT specialists.” Said the Minister as she addressed the attentive audience.

It was an honor for eZ Systems to welcome such a prominent guest to open the eZ Awards night and the event gained excellent recognition from the media and the community in Grenland.
